Drip Loop

A drip (water) loop is a part of a cable that is routed in a way, that the condensation and water drips off the cable and does not damage the sensor.

Importance of the drip (water) loop

Loop or half-moon-shaped cable routing is used to grant extra protection to the cable connection points. Its purpose is to protect the sensor kits from damage caused by rain, condensation, and excessive humidity. When installing the Aranet sensor kits, ensure that the connecting cables are routed in a manner that they obtain a loop or half-moon shape.
