Identifying Sensors and Sensor ID

Each sensor has:

  • a sensor ID (a 5‑character code with numbers and letters), and

  • an optional user-defined name (editable at any time).

Open the sensor list

From the Dashboard, press Sensors.

You’ll see a list of all paired sensors.

Identify sensors by their sensor ID and their user-defined name (for example, Bedroom).

View sensor details (including sensor ID)

Press the sensor you want to view.

This screen shows:

  • Sensor ID (for example, 0012AB)

  • Device type (for example, Aranet 4)

  • Measurement data

  • Battery level

  • RSSI signal strength

  • Last measurement time

  • Measurement interval
