Users

The Users menu is where you can create new users, delete, and edit data about existing ones. There are two types of account groups - User and Administrator.

The User group account has limited access to many of the settings’ features; however, full access to data and sensors is granted. By default, the user Guest in the User group is provided.

The Administrator group account should only be given to those who need features, such as software updates, network reset, threshold settings, etc. By default, the root account in the Administrator group is provided. The root account cannot be deleted, nor can its name be changed. The Root account can modify other user accounts belonging to Administrator and User groups.

If you would like to reset the base station to root account, and delete all previously created accounts then please proceed with FULL FACTORY RESET.

A full factory reset will erase all stored data and revert all settings to factory ones, so be aware. More information is available in this topic: Tools

Up to 20 accounts can be created (including root).

Change the root user password! The default password is a placeholder that is well known and should only be used for initial setup or after resetting to factory defaults.
