Network
Use the Network menu to configure base station connectivity.
You can connect the base station to the Internet via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or LTE (if available). Ethernet is recommended for best stability. Disable unused interfaces to reduce processor load.

Connection type
Wi-Fi supports two modes: Access point and Client.
By default, the Aranet base station runs as a Wi-Fi access point for initial setup. You can switch it to client mode at any time.
In Access point mode you can:
Set or change the Wi-Fi password.
Change the Wi-Fi name (SSID).
Change the access point IP address and subnet mask.
Click Save to apply changes.
Use Client mode to connect the base station to an existing Wi-Fi network.
Select Client.
Choose the Wi-Fi network (SSID).
Enter the Wi-Fi password.
Click Save.
Most routers have DHCP enabled by default. Keep DHCP for easiest setup. Static IP is available for advanced configurations.
Ethernet is typically more reliable than Wi-Fi. You can run Ethernet in DHCP client mode or set a static IP.
Ethernet factory settings
DHCP client: On
Static IP fallback: On
IP address: 192.168.205.100
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Static IP fallback (DHCP mode)
Static IP fallback is available when DHCP client mode is enabled.
If Static IP fallback is On and DHCP does not provide an IP address, the base station applies the last entered values for:
IP address
Subnet mask
Default gateway
DNS server
If no values were entered, factory settings apply. Factory settings also apply after a network reset.
If Static IP fallback is Off and DHCP fails, the Ethernet interface will not get a valid IP address.
The LTE menu is shown only when the system detects a modem.
Insert a mini SIM card with an active mobile data plan into the modem.
The SIM card is not included with Aranet PRO Plus LTE. The customer is responsible for the mobile data contract.
Mobile data usage can create extra costs. These costs are not covered by the Aranet PRO Plus LTE manufacturer.
Ask your mobile operator for the correct values for the LTE configuration fields.
Remote access over LTE
You can access the Aranet PRO Plus LTE web interface from the Internet over LTE. Request a static public IP address for the SIM card from your mobile operator.
LTE configuration differs between static and dynamic IP plans. Check details with your mobile operator.
Before removing the SIM card:
Clear all LTE configuration fields.
Disable the LTE connection.
Click Save.
Otherwise, the SIM card may be blocked.
The globe icon without a cross (colored green) means the base station is online.
