Network

Use the Network menu to configure base station connectivity.

You can connect the base station to the Internet via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or LTE (if available). Ethernet is recommended for best stability. Disable unused interfaces to reduce processor load.

More detail is available here: Connecting the Base Station to the Network.

Connection type

Wi-Fi supports two modes: Access point and Client.

By default, the Aranet base station runs as a Wi-Fi access point for initial setup. You can switch it to client mode at any time.

In Access point mode you can:

  • Set or change the Wi-Fi password.

  • Change the Wi-Fi name (SSID).

  • Change the access point IP address and subnet mask.

Click Save to apply changes.
