Deleting or Moving Sensors

Deleting a sensor

To delete a sensor from the base station, please follow these steps:

1. Open the base station's GUI.

2. In the graphical user interface of the Aranet base station, go to the SENSORS menu:

3. Select the sensor you want to delete by clicking on it.

4. Press the delete button.

5. Confirm the deletion by typing your password and pressing 'OK'.

  1. That is it, you are done.

Please keep in mind that when you delete a sensor, all of its data will be deleted.

Moving a sensor

To move a sensor, you must follow these steps:

  1. Delete a sensor from a base station as stated above

  2. Pair the sensor to the new base station as per the pairing procedure.

  3. You are done

Keep in mind that if you do not delete the sensor before moving it, it’s data will not be erased from the base station. Normally, the sensor can be paired to one base station only. Exceptions can exist when using the base station cloning procedure.
