Local IP / Network Setup

Additional features like network time synchronization (NTP), reporting and alarm notifications using e-mail, connection to Aranet Cloud, etc., require connectivity to the Internet (or internal data (Local) network). Connection to Local Area Network (LAN) and Internet using Ethernet cable is preferable, connection using Wi-Fi and LTE is also possible.

Default network settings, which are factory set:

  • DHCP client

  • Static IP fallback - ON

  • IP address - 192.168.205.100

  • Subnet mask - 255.255.255.0

Wi-Fi:

  • Enabled

  • SSID - Name of the Aranet base

  • IP address - 192.168.206.100

  • Subnet mask - 255.255.255.0

For the Aranet Pro Plus base station, wait until the LED indicators "Power", "System", and "Ethernet" turn on.
