Licenses

Currently, there are 2 types of licenses that can enhance the functionality of the Aranet base stations:

1) sensor number upgrade (from 12 to 50 or 100 sensors, or from 50 to 100 sensors);

2) MQTT, Modbus, BACnet, InfluxDB v2 connectivity.

The license ordering and uploading procedure is the same for both types of licenses:

1. Contact your sales representative or write to [e-mail] and order the necessary license, providing the appropriate serial number for the Aranet base station, as the license can be uploaded and used only on the Aranet base station for which it was generated;
2. Check whether the Aranet base station has at least firmware version 2.4.6 and if necessary, update firmware by downloading the latest firmware file from Downloads section of the Aranet web page.
3. Upload license to the appropriate Base as per instructions: BASE STATION FUNCTIONALITY UPGRADE BY LICENSE UPLOADING

The base station also supports license synchronization from Aranet Cloud. When a base station is registered in Aranet Cloud and has an active internet connection, the license information assigned in the cloud is automatically synchronized to the Cloud. To enable the integrations, you need to upload the licenses to the base station using the Aranet Cloud MANAGE option in the base station option.

Locate the base station, click on the MANAGE button, and click on Manage licenses.

Cloud will start establishing a connection to the base station.
