Pro Plus Base Station

Front view of the base station

  1. IP68 protected RJ-45 Ethernet port for Network and Power connection.

  2. Screws for detaching/securing Aranet Pro Plus case lid – 4 pcs.

  3. Warranty seals - Nylon screws – 4 pcs. Warranty is lost if damaged.

  4. SIM-card holder (Aranet Pro Plus LTE P/N TDSBOB03, TDSBOBU3, TDSBOBC3 only).

  5. Network Reset button; press and hold for 5 seconds or more and then release the button to reset network settings and password of the “root” user account.

  6. Humidity membrane.

Indicators of the base station

  1. Sensor data indicator LED – flashes amber every time a data packet is received from a sensor.

  2. Cellular connection indicator – slow flashes red when no SIM card is installed, or no connection is established; fast flashes with steady pauses when connected to a GSM LTE network.

  3. Wi-Fi connection indicator LED – yellow light when the Aranet Pro Plus Wi-Fi network interface is enabled, and the base is connected to Wi-Fi or works in Access Point mode.

  4. Ethernet connection indicator LED – yellow light when Aranet Pro Plus is connected to the LAN using a cable.

  5. System indicator – green light when the Aranet Pro Plus system is started.

  6. Power indicator LED – green light when Aranet Pro Plus is powered.

Base station mounting

The Aranet Pro Plus case has four dedicated holes for 4…4.5 mm screws by which the base can be mounted to smooth the surface

Make sure to NOT install the base station in a faraday cage structure. A Metal enclosure made of conductive material of any kind would count as this. This will significantly reduce the range of the base station.

SIM card installation

Aranet Pro Plus LTE P/N TDSBOB03, TDSBOBU3, TDSBOBC3 is equipped with GSM LTE 4G modem accepting Mini size SIM-card.

To install a SIM card into the modem:

  1. Disconnect Aranet Pro Plus LTE from a power source and wait for the system to shut down (all LEDs go off).

  2. Detach the Aranet Pro Plus LTE transparent lid by loosening 4 screws at the corners of the base's case.

  3. Locate the SIM card holder.

  4. Loosen the holder cover by rotating the metal locking plate counterclockwise.

  5. Flip the cover off.

  6. Insert the SIM card into the cover, observing correct orientation.

  7. Flip the cover back and fasten it by rotating the metal locking plate clockwise.

  8. Put back the Aranet Pro Plus LTE lid and fasten 4 screws.
