# Pulse Counter Offset

Starting from base FW version 4.4.4 and Aranet cloud version 2.0.68 you can add an offset to the cumulative pulse count.\
In the base station, you will find a new button when looking at the pulse counter settings: "ENTER METER READING".

Clicking on it will bring you to a screen where you can enter the number on your electricity meter.

From the Cloud you can also do this by going to base management and managing the sensors.\
When you choose a pulse counter sensor you will see this screen, wait \~10 seconds for the current measurement to be read.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/npcalu2ZTvQhM696FEdt" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

You can now click on the "ENTER METER READING" button. When you do so you will be greeted by this screen:

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/yM9Pn96yD1yeCR9l65hS" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

Here you can change the cumulative measurement. Then press submit and save the edit to the sensor. You have now changed the cumulative measurement for the pulse sensor.

Keep in mind, that this just changes the cumulative reading, so this can also be done for any other use you can think of and not just electricity meters.
