Firmware Update

To update your base station from Cloud, you first have to have:

  • Base station firmware version 4.5.0 or newer

  • Cloud version 2.0 or newer

  • Base station connected to the Cloud

  • User with write permission to base station management

If all of these are fulfilled, then you can head to the base stations tab, and you will see a screen like this:

A yellow turning cog icon will be visible if a new firmware version is available. To start the update, click on the MANAGE button, and a new screen will pop up:

In this window, you can see that a New Firmware version is available. You need to press New Firmware button to proceed with the upgrade of the base stations' firmware. After pressing the button, you will see a pop-up window:

Here, you need to confirm your action to get the Upgrade button active. After clicking on the Upgrade button, the base station and Cloud will start to establish a connection:

This connection establishment can take up to 2 minutes, and the update itself can take up to 15 minutes, so be patient. After a connection has been established, the base will start updating and rebooting, and you will lose connection to the base.

After a successful upgrade, a green checkmark will appear, and the firmware version will be updated to the latest one. If the upgrade fails, then a red checkmark next to the firmware number and an "Upgrade has failed" will show up.
